Cerebriu announces that co-founder Martin Lillholm has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer.
Martin Lillholm is a professor at the University of Copenhagen and one of the co-founders of Cerebriu. Martin is specialized in machine learning and medical image analysis and has an extensive background in compliance of medical devices, ensuring license to operate, regulatory compliance, and quality certification. Martin has led the regulatory affairs at Cerebriu simultaneously to his work as a full professor at the Department of Computer Science at University of Copenhagen. Moreover, until recently, Martin served as Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science and has previously worked in industry in R&D and managerial roles.
As COO, Martin will be responsible for Cerebriu’s day-to-day operations as well as driving realization of the company’s short and long terms goals in collaboration with the Cerebriu management team. Having a strong scientific and managerial background, Martin will ensure the company meets its strategic goals as Cerebriu is entering the commercial phase.
