Copenhagen, 31 January 2025 – Cerebriu, a leader in AI-driven radiology workflow solutions, is proud to announce its membership in AXREM, the UK’s trade association for diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT, and care equipment suppliers. As part of this collaboration, Cerebriu will actively contribute to AXREM’s AI Special Focus Group, helping to shape the future of AI in radiology and supporting responsible AI adoption in healthcare.
With increasing imaging demands and growing pressures on radiology professionals, AI presents a major opportunity to enhance efficiency, reduce backlogs, and support clinical decision-making. AXREM plays a key role in shaping policies and best practices within medical imaging and healthcare IT, and by joining this influential network, Cerebriu reinforces its commitment to ensuring AI technologies are developed and implemented in ways that align with the needs of UK healthcare providers and patients.
“We are excited to join AXREM and contribute to the AI Special Focus Group to advance AI’s role in radiology and beyond.” said Andrew Carr, Chief Commercial Officer at Cerebriu. “AI has the potential to transform radiology workflows, and through this partnership, we aim to share our expertise in real-time imaging AI to support the UK’s healthcare system with safe, efficient, and effective solutions.”
Sally Edgington, AXREM Chief Executive Officer said “I am extremely pleased to welcome Cerebriu as members, they will be a great addition to our very active AI Special Focus Group. This is also great timing as we launched our AI Manifesto on 3rd February”.
Cerebriu’s flagship solution, Apollo, enables radiologists to optimize MRI workflows in real-time through AI-driven Smart Priority, Smart Protocol and Smart Reading. By integrating AI at the point of imaging, Cerebriu helps clinicians make faster, more informed decisions, ensuring the right patients receive the right care at the right time.
As an active participant in AXREM’s AI Special Focus Group, Cerebriu will collaborate with industry leaders, healthcare providers, and policymakers to advance best practices for AI in medical imaging, ensuring regulatory compliance, ethical AI deployment, and seamless clinical integration.
